Breeze in Brief

Once a cool breeze

suddenly came by me,

a gustful hush of chill

with memories

of moments glanced,

observed by all the earth

in brief chance of glee,

that slice of gods near

reality, when

first hint of autumn

teaches the decline

and fall of berry

empires, leaves blare

their coming browning

and the blazing sun

gives in to shyness,

pleading wry disdain

for the heated still,

and hints how coming bleats of poolside kids

will trace in time all

                thought of distant hills.
