Crag

Crags are formed when a glacier or ice sheet passes over

an area that contains

formation particular;

resilient resistant

rock, oft, granite volcanic plug

with some other volcanic stuff, it happening thus

the risen rocky block stands firm,

while soft surrounds are mowed down

by means of fierce glacial force of fearsome erosioning

thus, the rocky block protrudes from the surrounding terrain.

Frequently the crag serves as shelter which remains as like

a gradual fan or ridge

forming a tapered ramp like bridge up the leeward side of crags ('n stuff).
